Cuban Dissident Reportedly Gets 18 Months in Jail

HAVANA — A member of one of Cuba’s small and illegal dissident groups has been sentenced to 18 months in jail for contempt of the authorities and resisting the authorities, a dissident colleague said Tuesday.
Ana Maria Agramonte was condemned at a trial last week and was in a jail in Havana, said Odilia Collazo of the Human Rights Party.
