Cool Air: The topic of cooler classrooms will get an airing today when a consortium of three power companies pitches a plan to install air conditioning at more than 300 Los Angeles Unified School District campuses within a proposed 15 months. Executives from the Energy Alliance will meet with LAUSD officials to discuss a “fast-track concept” for bringing air conditioning to schools much more quickly than the district had originally envisioned.
