SEASON AT A GLANCE: Everman has steadily improved since finishing third in both the 200- and 500-yard freestyles at the Southern Section Division II championships last year. He won both events at the Mission League finals two weeks ago.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Everman became the first Notre Dame boys’ swimmer in this decade to win a Southern Section title with victories in the 200 freestyle (1:41.96) and 500 freestyle (4:31.29) last weekend at Belmont Plaza. Everman is the first boy from the region to win multiple events in a Southern Section final since John Jenkins of Crescenta Valley in 1994.
