SEASON AT A GLANCE: One of the best swimmers in the nation, Parmenter won multiple events at the U.S. Senior National meet in Buffalo and competed for the U.S. in the World Short Course Championships in Sweden last month.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Unshaved and untapered, Parmenter broke her Southern Section Division I record in the 200 individual medley in the final last week by timing 2:00.41, bettering the record by .41 seconds. Parmenter won the 500 freestyle in 4:51.42, beating Vicki West of Redlands by just over a second.
