All Aboard for Carpinteria Beach

Starting June 21, you can hop the train to Carpinteria, south of Santa Barbara, and get off two blocks from Carpinteria State Beach at a new Amtrak station at Linden Avenue and 5th Street. One train north and one train south on the San Diegan route (which runs between San Diego and Paso Robles) will stop there daily. At press time, the schedule hadn’t been set.
