Bugs and Daffy on Family; HBO lives ‘Happily Ever After’; the Peanuts gang celebrate on Disney

Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and the rest of the gang are up to their usual antics in Bugs Bunny 1,001 Rabbit Tales (Family Channel, Sunday at 10 a.m.). Bugs and Daffy take jobs as book salesmen in a land ruled by Yosemite Sam and his nephew Prince Abadaba. For ages 3 to 7.

The animated series Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales For Every Child, the ethnically diverse versions of classic fairy tales, features “The Little Mermaid” (HBO, Sunday at 7:30 p.m.). Princess Mija (the voice of Tia Carrere), who lives in a secret underwater kingdom, has her peaceful life changed forever when she falls in love with a human prince. Singing “Should I Trade in My Fins,” she bargains with Ming the Sea Witch (the voice of Amy Hill) for a pair of legs. For ages 5 to 10.

Charlie Brown and Snoopy celebrate the beginning of summer with a Charlie Brown and Snoopy Memorial Day Marathon (Disney Channel, Monday from 1:30 p.m. to 8:25 p.m.). The festival spotlights such classics as “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (at 3 p.m.), which follows the hapless Charlie Brown’s struggles with homework and baseball. It ends with “A Boy Named Charlie Brown” (at 8:25 p.m.), with the Peanuts gang going to New York City where Charlie Brown competes in the national spelling bee. For ages 3 to 10.

Eight-year-old Ned Needlemeyer (Courtland Mead) continues his worrying and letting his overactive imagination run wild in Nightmare Ned (ABC, Saturday at 10 a.m.). In “House of Games,” Ned is convinced that household items are out to get him. Then, in “Willie Trout,” he goes on a fishing trip, falls asleep and dreams that a trout attacks his father. For ages 2 to 11.
