Man, 29, Is Stabbed, Dies in Hospital

COSTA MESA — A 29-year-old man died Sunday after being stabbed outside a house on the 500 block of Hamilton Street.
Police and paramedics were called to the home at 11:45 a.m., said Loren Wyrick, a spokesman for the Police Department. The man was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he was treated for a stab wound to his upper torso, but died about 5 p.m.
Police said the incident, which is under investigation, did not appear to be gang-related. The identification of the dead man was withheld until family could be notified.
