‘The Ear’ Features Art, Literature

Copies of “The Ear,” Irvine Valley College’s annual journal of art and literature, are available on campus.

The journal features the work of faculty, students and residents. Highlights this year include Dennis Paulson’s story “Social Dancing,” a recollection of his days in the Marine Corps; student David McClynn’s story “The Faster the Snow Melts” about the streets of inner-city Chicago; and Lenore Schone’s poems about the Pacific coast.

This is the 14th year that the college has published the journal.

Free copies are available at the Humanities Center, Building A-300, and the information desk in the administration office, Building A-100. The college is at 5550 Irvine Center Drive.
