Longtime community activist Patricia Ann Soderquist has been named 1997’s Distinguished Friend of Fullerton College.
The retired kindergarten, home visitation and nursery school teacher has spent most of her life educating children and is a strong supporter of the college, officials said.
Soderquist, who lives with her husband of 43 years, Ronald, in Fullerton, has three children and four grandchildren.
She is the education chairwoman for the Chamber of Commerce and has been a driving force behind a campaign to recognize Fullerton as “The Education Community.”
Soderquist also serves as a member of the Fullerton College Master Plan Committee.
