Power Outage Leaves 70 Customers in Dark

VENTURA — Crews from Southern California Edison were working to restore power late Sunday to about 70 customers left in the dark after their electricity went off earlier in the afternoon.
Steve Shender, a spokesman for Southern California Edison, said it was unclear why power to about 117 customers went out about 5 p.m. in the area of Callens Road in Ventura.
Service was restored to 47 customers within two hours, but the remaining Edison customers were still without power late Sunday, Shender said.
