Order Reportedly Restored to Capital

Troops loyal to the president restored order to the capital of this Central Asian nation after a weekend of fighting between rival government factions, the Foreign Ministry said. A Tajik Security Council official put the death toll in the fighting at 20. The Russian NTV network said 70 people were killed or wounded.
