* Update--Today’s doubleheader is the result of a rainout at Three Rivers Stadium on April 12. Right-hander Ramon Martinez has his second chance to get an official appearance at the big-league level since mid-June, when he tore the rotator cuff in his throwing shoulder. After two months on the disabled list and five rehabilitation starts, Martinez got what amounted to a sixth rehabilitation assignment Wednesday in New York. He went two-plus innings, giving up six runs, five hits and four walks. Fortunately for Martinez, the game was halted by rain in the third inning after the Mets had loaded the bases with none out.
* Tuesday, 4:30 p.m.--Dodgers’ Chan Ho Park (13-6, 3.19) vs. Pirates’ Jose Silva (0-0, 8.76).
* Wednesday, 10:30 a.m.--Dodgers’ Dennis Reyes (1-2, 4.01) vs. Pirates’ Steve Cooke (9-12, 3.81).
