Camera Platforms Loses $273,000 in 2nd Quarter

Camera Platforms International Inc. posted a net loss of $273,000 in its second quarter that ended June 30, compared with a $483,000 loss a year ago.
Revenues for the North Hollywood-based motion-picture equipment company rose 28% to $1.0 million from $779,000 a year earlier.
For the six months, the company’s net loss fell to $264,000 from $917,000 a year earlier. During the same period sales increased 25% to $2 million from $1.6 million a year earlier.
