Cal Lutheran to Offer Post-MBA Certificate

Cal Lutheran University will offer a post-MBA certificate program this fall for MBA graduates who need to acquire a new area of specialization or want to update their education.
The tuition for the certificate is $250 per credit, plus a $50 application fee. Discounts are available for CLU alumni.
Certificates can be earned in seven professional tracks: finance; health-care management; information technology management; international business; management/organizational behavior; marketing; and small business/ entrepreneurship. Participants also may design an individualized program of study with departmental consent.
“Corporations are discovering that it makes more sense economically and from a human resource perspective to certify a manager in a new area than to undertake the costly and time-consuming process of bringing in someone from the outside,” said Charles Maxey, dean of CLU’s business school.
