New Quarters, Expansion for Repo Ranch

Repo Ranch, which sells vehicles that have been repossessed from the original buyers (the company calls them “bank-owned vehicles”), has moved its corporate headquarters from Fontana to Buena Park.
The new offices opened Monday in conjunction with a big expansion of Repo Ranch’s Buena Park facility, and company President Jim Schneider says he’s busy hiring several dozen service representatives, salespeople and mechanics.
Repo Ranch opened its Orange County sales operation in August, occupying a former Toyota dealership that had been vacant for three years. The company has spent three months remodeling the place.
Along with a 250-car inventory and the company’s corporate offices, the dealership at Orangethorpe and Western avenues now houses a service department, a paint and body shop and an accessories department where customers can buy stereos, fancy wheels and tires, alarm systems and other customizing items.
Schneider, who started Repo Ranch in Fontana last year, says he is the only auto retailer in the state that sells bank-owned vehicles directly to the public.
It apparently is a growth market. Schneider hopes to add three Southern California locations over the next five years, for a total of five dealerships.
