Panel Calls for Change in AT&T; Ad

A National Advertising Review Board panel is recommending that AT&T; Corp. modify television and print advertising for its Web Hosting Services in order to eliminate the implication that AT&T; has the industry’s most powerful Internet network. The NARB decision upholds a September decision by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, which recommended that AT&T; clarify its “most powerful network in the world” claim. AT&T; disagreed with the NARB decision but said it would modify future ads.
