The upside to USC’s 82-72 defeat to Nevada Las Vegas on Tuesday was that the Trojans got 52 rebounds, the highest total this season. The 15 rebounds grabbed by freshmen forward Shannon Swillis were the most by any Trojan player this season. Swingman Ken Sims also had a big night on the boards, posting a personal-high 12 rebounds.
The downside for USC was 24% three-point shooting (six of 25).
