JetHawks Draw Blank in Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA — The Lancaster JetHawks continued to struggle against left-hander Steve Hoff, who pitched seven innings Thursday night to lead Rancho Cucamonga to a 9-0 victory before 5,060 at the Epicenter.
Hoff (3-3) scattered seven hits and struck out seven. All his victories have come against the JetHawks (20-14), who have scored only one earned run in 21 innings against Hoff.
Kevin Grybosky (0-6) allowed a sacrifice fly in the first and was chased during a five-run second inning highlighted by a two-run triple by Ben Reynoso.
Bernie Davis was four for four and drove in two runs for Rancho Cucamonga (20-14).
Hoff defeated Lancaster, 7-3, on June 27 and 6-4 on July 13.
