Lawsuit Stakes Claim to Cunanan Reward

Fernando Carreira, the caretaker who stumbled upon suspected serial killer Andrew Phillip Cunanan aboard a Miami Beach houseboat and called police, filed a lawsuit to claim $65,000 in reward money offered for Cunanan’s capture. In the lawsuit he filed in Dade County Circuit Court, Carreira, 71, says the city of Miami Beach and Dade County breached a contract by refusing to give him the reward.
