After a four-year stretch without winning a championship, Palisades defeated Roosevelt, 15-12, 15-8, 15-7, to win the City Section Division 4-A girls’ volleyball title at Occidental College.
Laurel Brisco delivered 22 kills for the second-seeded Dolphins (16-2), who won their 19th championship since 1973.
Rosalinda Zuniga had 14 kills for Roosevelt (16-1), which was making its fourth championship-match appearance in the past five years.
