T-Shirts Sought for AIDS Display
T-shirts, often used to express anger, grief, humor and political beliefs, will be the art used in the first exhibition of the Southern California AIDS Policy Archive.
Donations of shirts with slogans dealing with AIDS--permanent or on-loan--are being sought for display at USC beginning Dec. 1, which is World AIDS Day. The exhibition will tour to other local venues before moving to the 12th annual World AIDS Conference in Geneva in June 1998.
For information on the archive or the exhibition, call (213) 743-1776.
