Michigan, completing its first perfect season since 1971, was a near-unanimous choice as the No. 1 team in The Associated Press’ Top 25 college football poll.
The Wolverines (11-0) received 69 of a possible 70 first-place votes and 1,749 points Sunday from the panel of sports writers and broadcasters.
Nebraska (10-0) replaced Florida State at No. 2 with one first-place vote. The Seminoles (10-1), 32-29 losers to Florida, tumbled to No. 5.

Kond Allen scored on a 29-yard run on a hook-and-lateral play in overtime late Saturday to give Northeast Louisiana (5-7) a 23-20 victory over Hawaii (3-8) at Honolulu.
