Small Planes
We’ve just witnessed another in a series of deadly small airplane crashes, one after another (Sept. 26). Now it’s time to stop the carnage. The pilots of these little planes are insufficiently trained and practiced, making yet more disastrous crashes certain.
Privately owned and flown small aircraft are completely unnecessary. After all, there are perfectly usable means of safe public air transportation piloted by trained and practiced professionals available to us all. Why should we continue to tolerate this menace?
I call for the complete abolition of privately owned and flown airplanes. I want our lawmakers to prohibit them from our skies.
