Crystal Cove Plans

The state’s sale of Crystal Cove State Park is moving along too quickly and with too little opposition. The concept of a “boutique resort” is an obscenity, and all Orange County residents should be alarmed if not outraged.
Has the state established a need for another hotel development in Orange County? Beach cities from Long Beach to Dana Point offer huge hotels and hundreds of motels. I am unaware of any shortage of rooms along the coast of Orange County. It is senseless to destroy this environmentally sensitive coastal region with yet another hotel complex. The cottages are dilapidated, and should be replaced with picnic/camping grounds.
