San Clemente (3-0) vs. Woodbridge (2-0-1)
7:30 P.M. SATURDAY
IRVINE HIGH
The young Warriors, who endured a winless 1996 season, have developed faster than expected, with only a tie with Pacifica marring their record this year. But Woodbridge is facing its biggest challenge yet in San Clemente, which runs an offense called the Fly that’s difficult to decipher. If the Tritons, who are averaging 36 points a game, blow past a fourth consecutive opponent, they must be seriously considered as a South Coast League title threat. If Woodbridge, which is giving up an average of 11 points a game, can rise to the occasion, it will enter the Sea View League title picture.
