Nunan to Head UPN Entertainment

Tom Nunan has resigned as head of NBC Studios Primetime to become executive vice president of entertainment at UPN. He succeeds Michael Sullivan, who left to form a production company. Nunan will report to UPN chief Dean Valentine beginning Oct. 13. Nunan spent two years at NBC Studios, during which time the production arm became the network’s largest prime-time supplier. Nunan oversaw development of “Homicide: Life on the Street,” “Profiler” and “The Pretender” and such comedies as the new “Union Square.”
