Charles Nagy, who starts for the Indians tonight, isn’t coming off the most reassuring effort.
He tied a division series record with six walks in 3 2/3 innings of a 6-1 Game 3 loss to the Yankees.
Said Hargrove: “I think his stuff was good, but he picked too much.”
Said the laconic Nagy: “The walks speak for themselves. I wasn’t going to give in to their hitters. I wanted them to hit my pitch, and I was kind of all over the place. I’m happy the guys gave me another chance [by winning the last two games of that series].”
