* KICKOFF: 3:30 p.m., FX.
* STORYLINE: UCLA comes back to Pacific 10 Conference play after a 66-10 victory over Houston, and it’s old-home week for a couple of Bruin coaches. Both Coach Bob Toledo and assistant Al Borges were offensive coordinator for the Ducks.
* UCLA UPDATE: The Bruins are on a roll, having scored 172 points in their last three games, all wins. Quarterback Cade McNown has completed 72% of his passes in those three games.
* OREGON UPDATE: After wining their first three games, the Ducks have lost two in a row and are still trying to decide the starting quarterback between Jason Maas and Akili Smith.
* EDGE TO UCLA: The Bruins have taken advantage of opposing teams’ turnovers with an opportunistic offense, and they should again.
* THE LINE: UCLA by 11 1/2.
