Motorcyclist Dies After Hitting Pole

A Sherman Oaks man who was not wearing a helmet died Friday after he crashed a motorcycle he was test-driving, Santa Ana police said.
Jose Dassa, 34, lost control of the bike and hit a curb and then a power pole in the 900 block of North Louise Street about 9:30 a.m., police said.
Dassa was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died at 10:20 a.m.
