Families can learn about the history of Israel and the meaning of being Jewish through four exhibits from My Jewish Discovery Place Children’s Museum in Los Angeles that are on display at the Simi Valley Jewish Community Center.
The four hands-on exhibits are “Happy Birthday, Jerusalem,” “Noah’s Ark,” “Shticky City” and “Doll House Synagogue.”
Other activities will include a costume center, building Jerusalem stone by stone, an Israeli flag center, an artifact rubbing table, murals, stories, character creation and the opportunity for dramatic and creative play.
Public hours at the community center, at 3050 Kadota St., are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays and 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Oct. 29. Additional hours can be arranged for group tours.
Admission is free. For more information, call Karen Blufer at 522-2214.
