Chaminade 17, Temple City 0--Matt Markis rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown in 21 carries to lead the visiting Eagles (1-4) to their first victory.
Ray Rodriguez completed nine of 20 passes for 124 yards, including an eight-yard scoring pass to James Webber, to give Chaminade a 17-0 lead late in the third quarter.
Clayton Johnson kicked a 42-yard field goal to open the scoring late in the first quarter.
Chris Canoles of Chaminade had four receptions for 48 yards.
Chaminade’s defense held Temple City (1-4) to 80 rushing yards and minus-five yards passing.
It was an important win for an Eagles team that had blown leads the past two weeks in losses to Thousand Oaks and Valencia.
