While Oriole trainer Richie Bancells was in one part of the visiting dugout explaining to reporters that center fielder Brady Anderson had pulled a muscle in his right groin in Game 2, Anderson was in another area trying to pinpoint his injury for another group of reporters.
“I don’t remember the name of the muscle,” Anderson said. “I didn’t even know I had one until [Thursday].”
Manager Davey Johnson said Anderson will start Game 3 today “unless there’s an eclipse or something.”

Grissom did not reveal the severity of his flu-like symptoms during the game, but Hershiser did Friday.
“I was in the locker room and Marquis was over the sink, losing his lunch,” Hershiser said. “He was just trying to survive the night, and he ended up being a hero.”
