Dubious Distinction

Several World Series records were tied--bad records, not good ones--including:
Errors in one inning--By committing three in the ninth, Cleveland tied a record held by several teams. (The Dodgers were the last, in Game 2 of 1966, when Willie Davis made all three.)
Walks in one inning--With four in the fourth, Florida’s Al Leiter tied a record held by several pitchers. (Todd Stottlemyre were the last, for Toronto in Game 4 of 1993.)
Consecutive walks in one inning--By walking Marlins back-to-back in the third, Charles Nagy tied a record. (Also by Stottlemyre; see above.)
