A rematch of last year’s Southern Section Division V championship game is this contest’s selling point. The reality is that Santa Margarita won that game easily, 38-0. The Eagles, ranked No. 1 in the division and No. 2 in the county, appear headed back to the finals, but Newport Harbor doesn’t seem nearly the lock. The Sailors lost last week to Woodbridge, 17-10, to diminish their luster. They can kiss a Sea View League title goodbye and assume enormous pressure to win their final three games to ensure an automatic playoff berth if they lose here. An error-free game will help.
