Chinese Visitor Sets Pentagon Visitor Mark

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon reported that its annual visitor record was broken when the 130,861st visitor showed up.
Jianyi Yang, a staff member of the People’s Republic of China consulate in San Francisco, walked through the door and into the hoopla last Thursday afternoon.
The Pentagon says he “expressed surprise as he was ushered away in a VIP cart for a special tour of the world’s largest office building.”
