Minardi, who has orally committed to Colorado, showed off his all-around talents catching three touchdown passes, running for one score off a fake field goal and blocking a punt that led to a fifth touchdown in the Eagles’ 45-6 victory over Newport Harbor. Minardi caught six passes for 140 yards with scoring catches of 56, 42 and 20 yards.

* Mission Viejo, senior. Finished the three-mile course at the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational in 15 minutes 32 seconds in the team sweepstakes race. The Diablos had the county’s fastest team time.

* El Toro, senior. Lee was second in the individual sweepstakes race at the Mt. SAC Invitational, finishing the course in a county-best 15:30.
John Leonard/Football/Quarterback
* Mater Dei, senior. Completed 22 of 30 passes for 402 yards and three touchdowns in 43-29 victory over No. 9 Mission Viejo.
