Costa Mesa High School was recently selected as the recipient of a $348,000 state technology grant.
Principal Andrew Hernandez said the money will be used to buy computer equipment, install new electrical outlets in the classrooms and show all the teachers how to use computers in the classroom.
Newport-Mesa Unified School District officials said they will match the state grant dollar for dollar.
“This will give our school a jump-start on our way to fulfilling our technology plan,” Hernandez said.
