Man Commits Suicide at Huntington State Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A 52-year-old Fountain Valley man shot and killed himself Tuesday at Huntington State Beach, the coroner’s office reported.
Edward Raymond Killian was discovered at 1:50 p.m. on the beach between Magnolia and Brookhurst streets, Deputy Pat Lorey said. Investigators believe he had shot himself about 11:30 a.m.
Lorey said Killian had left a note with his wife. The content was not disclosed.
