Gore to Take Part in Live Teleconference

Vice President Al Gore and U.S. Education Secretary Richard Riley are scheduled to take part in a live, interactive teleconference that will be broadcast to Cal Lutheran University next week.
The nationwide discussion will center around how schools and communities can better prepare teachers to involve parents in the education of their children.
It will feature innovative programs and some of the best practices from leading universities, colleges, school districts and communities from across the nation.
The teleconference, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 11 a.m. Nov. 5 in Cal Lutheran’s Preus-Brandt Forum. For more information, call 493-3420.
