ANAHEIM — An 83-year-old man who crashed into his sister while trying to pull into his garage probably panicked behind the wheel and won’t be cited for the accident, police said Wednesday.
Alexander Yorgiadis had just returned from the market with his sister, Pinelope Yorgiadis, 77, when he tried to park his brown Oldsmobile in the garage of their home at 1404 S. Garza St.
The woman had gotten out of the car to open the garage door for her brother when he accidentally backed into a block wall and then quickly drove forward, hitting his sister and fatally wounding her, police said.
