Supervisor Thomas W. Wilson, one of the board’s last single members, tied the knot last weekend.
Wilson and Nancy J. Miller were married Saturday at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Dana Point. The wedding reception was attended by most of his board colleagues, County Chief Executive Officer Jan Mittermeier and 300 other guests.
Wilson, 57, went to junior high and high school with Miller in Pennsylvania. They lost touch until a high school reunion in 1988, soon after the death of his first wife. It turned out that Miller was living in Santa Ana. A few months after the reunion they got together for a date at Disneyland.
The newlyweds plan a honeymoon cruise along the East Coast and Canada later this month.
