Suspect in 2 Gang Killings Surrenders

A 28-year-old man described by authorities as a suspect in two gang-related killings surrendered to Los Angeles police Sunday morning after holing up in a San Pedro house for seven hours, officers said.
Eric Armenderez of San Pedro surrendered about 8 a.m. Sunday after a SWAT team fired tear gas into a bedroom in the back of a house in the 1500 block of South Grand Avenue, Officer Don Cox said.
No shots were fired during the standoff. No injuries were reported.
