The Los Alamitos Certified Farmers Market will celebrate its first anniversary with a customer appreciation day Friday during regular market hours, 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The market takes place every Friday at Florista and Pine streets in Los Alamitos.
All fruits and vegetables at the market are California grown. Growers still have stone fruit, apples and grapes available, and anticipate bringing persimmons, kiwi and pumpkins to the market this fall.
