Re “Reaction Subdued on Prop. 187,” July 30.
Several Ventura County people are quoted in this story regarding the fate of Proposition 187. Only one, Steve Frank, speaks on behalf of the clearly expressed will of the California electorate to revisit the narrowly decided and factually different Plyler vs. Doe case of 1982. That proponents of Proposition 187 were totally excluded from the governor’s “settlement” receives no mention whatsoever.
For some time, a liberal tilt has been evident in The Times. To see that same pattern of bias manifest itself in a section devoted to regional news is disheartening.
