Conflict Over Dress

Re “Modesty Squad Dressing Down Secular Israelis,” Aug. 9:
I guess hating Arabs isn’t enough for the ultra-Orthodox in Israel, so now they’re attacking their fellow countrymen. Apparently the God they worship cares very much about how one dresses, what foods one eats and whether or not one drives a car on a certain day of the week but doesn’t give a damn about hatred and violence against one’s fellow man. They call this religious. I call it insane.
