Pure Chem Bought by Illinois Company

Nalco Chemical Co. said Tuesday it acquired Pure Chem Products Co. Inc., a Stanton manufacturer of cleaners and water treatment services for the food and beverage industries. Financial terms were not disclosed. Pure Chem has 1999 estimated sales of $4.5 million.
Nalco, which is based in Naperville, Ill., develops water treatment and process chemicals, services and systems.
