* Does it surprise anyone that Albanians are slaughtering Serbs and destroying Christian churches in an organized campaign (Aug. 15)? When the NATO air assault began, experts warned that as bad as Slobodan Milosevic was, the Albanian KLA leaders were ruthless Communist and Muslim terrorists and that the KLA must be disarmed for peace to have a chance.
President Clinton’s hollow promises to protect Serbian residents of Kosovo were abandoned right after he and Hillary flew in and hugged every Albanian in sight for the television cameras. The KLA was allowed to rush into Kosovo and begin its ethnic cleansing while the “peacekeepers” stayed far away.
Will Clinton admit he botched everything or at least fly back and hug a few Serbs in front of a blown-up church? Don’t hold your breath.
