Seeley Names Senior Vice President

Richard C. Schnell, a former top executive at Cushman Realty Corp., has joined rival brokerage firm Seeley Co. as senior vice president. Schnell will manage and expand Seeley’s downtown Los Angeles office and boost the company’s presence in Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena. Schnell had been with Cushman Realty since 1983 and served as an executive vice president.
* Stefanie Henning will leave her post as leader of International Creative Management’s new-media division to head the new Los Angeles office of Shockwave.com, a unit of San Francisco software developer Macromedia. Henning will serve as Shockwave.com’s vice president of content acquisition and help establish a system for developing and distributing interactive content and animation on the Web. Henning, who co-founded the new-media group at Beverly Hills-based ICM five years ago, has worked with game developers, 3-D artists, programmers and software publishers.
* Paula Kaplan has been promoted to vice president of talent for Santa Monica-based children’s cable network Nickelodeon, a division of Viacom International Inc. Kaplan is a former vice president of talent relations.
