Ice Dogs Lose to Manitoba

Scott Arniel scored two goals to help the Manitoba Moose defeat the Ice Dogs, 5-2, Saturday night at the Long Beach Arena.
With the loss, the Ice Dogs (25-13-0) remain six points behind Houston (25-5-6) in the International Hockey League’s Southwest Division. Houston also has the best record in the league.
Manitoba (20-10-6), which is in second place in the Midwest Division, scored all the points it would need in the first period. with goals by Arniel, Ralph Intranuevo and Bill Bowler.
Jaroslav Modry and Patrick Augusta scored goals for the Ice Dogs.
