ANAHEIM
* Pacific Avenue: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 900 block at 9:32 a.m. Tuesday.
* Broadway: Report of a disturbance in the 9000 block at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday.
BREA
* Brea Mall: Police arrested a 19-year-old male on suspicion of theft at Macy’s at 8:48 p.m. Dec. 28.
BUENA PARK
* Beach Boulevard: Two men pepper-sprayed and pistol-whipped a woman at the Courtyard by Marriott in the 7600 block at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday; the two then stole a diamond ring, Seiko watch and souvenirs.
COSTA MESA
* Newport Boulevard: A briefcase and a cellular phone worth $649 were stolen from a car in the 1800 block about 12:15 p.m. Dec. 27.
CYPRESS
* Saipan Street: Report of petty theft from a residential garage in the 6500 block Tuesday.
DANA POINT
* Calle Dolores: Report of a robbery alarm in the 26000 block at 7:38 a.m. Dec. 28.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY
* Kalama River Avenue: A 27-year-old Anaheim man was arrested on suspicion of theft after a computer video card valued at $129 was taken from an electronics store at 6:25 p.m. Dec. 28.
FULLERTON
* Deerpark Drive: Report of an attempted robbery in the 1400 block at 7:20 p.m. Dec. 28; one male suspect brandished a knife and the other had an object that looked like a gun. The suspects took the victim’s wallet and searched his bag. They later returned the wallet and bag to the victim and left the scene before police arrived.
* Quartz Lane: Report of a vehicle burglary, unknown items taken, in the 3000 block at 10:07 p.m. Dec. 28.
GARDEN GROVE
* Westminster Avenue at Euclid Street: Report of an audible burglary alarm at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Brighton Lane at Shoreham Drive: Report of kids putting string across the street at 11:39 a.m. Dec. 27.
* Jolly Lane: Someone stole clothing, jewelry and other items from a home in the 18100 block; reported at 11:51 a.m. Dec. 27.
IRVINE
* Parkview Lane: A radio antenna was stolen from a car parked in an apartment complex in the 3700 block sometime before 12:42 p.m. Tuesday.
* Executive Circle: Report that a vehicle’s tire was slashed at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday.
LAGUNA BEACH
* Laguna Canyon Road: A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in the 1900 block Dec. 28.

* Alcalde Drive: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 23000 block at 2:29 p.m. Dec. 28.
* Laguna Hills Mall: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 24000 block at 9:18 p.m. Dec. 28.

* Via Portola: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 25000 block at 7:01 p.m. Dec. 28.

* Dimension and Lake Forest drives: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 28.

* Valley View Street: A 20-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at his home in the 7700 block Dec. 28.

* Green Avenue: A man was arrested after a disturbance in the 4400 block at 3:22 a.m. Dec. 27.
MISSION VIEJO
* Lirio: Report of shots heard in the 24000 block at 10:14 p.m. Dec. 28.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Newport Center Drive: About $9,276 was stolen from a business in the 400 block sometime during the evening of Dec. 27.
* Placentia Avenue: A car stereo and several compact discs worth $455 were stolen in the 1400 block Dec. 27.
ORANGE
* Chapman Avenue at Jamboree Road: Report of reckless driving at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday.
PLACENTIA
* Garten Drive: Report of mischief in the 13000 block at 9:31 p.m. Tuesday; someone egged a parked vehicle and broke the windshield.
SAN CLEMENTE
* Calle Del Apice: Report of a robbery alarm in the 100 block at 9:37 a.m. Dec. 28.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
* Rancho Viejo Road: Report of a robbery alarm in the 31000 block at 11:55 a.m. Dec. 28.
SANTA ANA
* Charwood Lane: Report of an audible burglary alarm in the 1000 block at 11:13 p.m. Tuesday.
SEAL BEACH
* Golden Rain Road: Three aluminum pans valued at $10 were reported stolen from a frontyard at 3:49 p.m. Dec. 27.

* Mitchell Avenue: Report of a residential burglary in the 1100 block at 11:17 a.m. Tuesday. The burglar entered through an open window and took a 19-inch color television.

* Daron Drive: Report of a burglary with an audible alarm in the 9000 block at 10:19 a.m. Tuesday.
WESTMINSTER
* Beach Boulevard: Two buffer and polishing machines, valued at $240 and $180, were reported stolen from an auto repair shop in the 14000 block Dec. 27.
YORBA LINDA
* Via Coronado: Report of vandalism in the 21000 block at 1:38 p.m. Tuesday.
